Defect

Risk / consequence
Tie rod failure can cause a loss of vehicle steering control and increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the tie rod end and re-align the front axle, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 9, 2024. Owners may contact Navistar customer service at 1-800-448-7825. Navistar's number for this recall is 24511.
