Highland Ridge RV (Highland Ridge) is recalling certain 2025 Highland Ridge GO Play travel trailers. The certification and tire information labels may have the incorrect Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) and state the incorrect tire and rim size. As such, these vehicles fail to conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims" and the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."
Risk / consequence
Incorrect weight and tire size information can result in an overloaded trailer, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Jayco will mail owners new labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 12, 2025. Owners may contact Highland Ridge customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Highland Ridge's number for this recall is 9904628.

On March 18, 2025, Jayco Inc. compliance department was notified by Engineering via email that the Certification labels and the Tire and Loading Information labels on certain 2025 Highland Ridge GO Play models have the incorrect GAWR (Gross Axle Weight Rating), Tire size, and Rim size listed on the Labels which was caused by an engineering software data printing error.

On March 24, 2025, the Warranty Incident Review Committee (WIRC) discussed the incident and determined it should be elevated to CPAC.

On April 2, 2025, the Corrective and Preventive Action Committee (CPAC) met to discuss this incident and elevated it to the Safety Steering Committee.

On April 16, 2025, the Safety Steering Committee voted in favor of proceeding with a noncompliance recall for failing to comply with requirement of the 49 CFR Part 567, Certification and the requirement of FMVSS Number 110, Tire selection and rims and motor home/recreation vehicle trailer load carrying capacity information for motor vehicles with a GVWR of 4,536 kilograms (10,000 pounds) or less. There are no warranty claims associated with this recall.
