Defect
Brinkley RV (Brinkley) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Model G and Model Z fifth wheel travel trailers, equipped with a removable step assembly. The clip-on bracket mounting bolts may come loose, allowing the steps to detach.
Risk / consequence
Steps that detach while in use increase the risk of injury.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the clip-on bracket as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 21, 2025. Owners may contact Brinkley customer service at 1-574-501-4280. Brinkley's number for this recall is REC-2502.

On April 23, 2025, Brinkley RV received notification of recall 25E026 from MORryde and opened an investigation.
- Apr 24, 2025
On April 24, 2025, Brinkley RV Safety Committee met to review potential exposure and scope, and voted unanimously to recall the affected units. No field-related issues have been recorded subject to this defect.
