Lowered Suspension May Damage Rear Tires

Kibbi, LLC (Kibbi) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Renegade Verona and Verona LE recreational vehicles. The rear leveling jack mounting bracket may contact and deflate the rear suspension air bag, lowering the rear suspension.

Risk / consequence

The lowered suspension may allow the fenders to contact and damage the rear tires, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Dealers will inspect and modify the bracket, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 9, 2025. Owners may contact Kibbi customer service at 1-574-766-0196.

Chronology of events

1. Jul 16, 2025

   · 7/16/2025: Retail reached out to Renegade requesting assistance in getting this issue remedied. o Note: this is the only incident that has been reported to date.

2. Jul 21, 2025

   · 7/21/2025: Engineering, production, and the warranty team produced the potential remedy of notching the leveling jack mounting plate providing the clearance needed to ensure there was no contact.

3. Jul 30, 2025

   · 7/30/2025: Testing of the remedy process was completed. o The steps were recorded along with pictures, outlining the finalized procedure.

4. Aug 3, 2025

   · 8/3/2025: The cause was verified. Freightliner moved the position of a cross-member, this was historically a point of measurement for the rear leveling jack mounting plate.

5. Aug 7, 2025

   · 8/7/2025: The starting VIN was identified. Freightliner provided the date that this cross-member location was changed within their production process.

6. Aug 8, 2025

   · 8/8/2025: The complete scope was identified, on campus and in the field.
