Paddle Latch May Unintentionally Lock Liquid Propane Compartment

REV Recreation Group (REV) is recalling certain 2024-2026 Holiday Rambler Invicta and Fleetwood Fortis recreational vehicles equipped with Lippert Paddle latches with part number 2021097882. The paddle latch may unintentionally lock, preventing operators from accessing the Liquid Propane (LP) compartment.

Risk / consequence

An inability to access the LP compartment can increase the risk of a fire.

Remedy

Dealers will inspect and replace the paddle latches as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 19, 2025. Owners may contact REV customer service at 1-800-509-3417. REV's number for this recall is 251021REV.

   9/30/2025 – RRG received notification from Lippert that they are recalling non-locking latches - RRG Part # N08-0091 - Lippert Part # 2021097882. Lippert’s notice identified REV purchased latches from

2. Feb 28, 2023

   February 28th, 2023, for the 2024 model year launch through September 2nd, 2025. 10/1 – RRG began a product review including orders and usage. 10/2 – Based upon Lippert’s onsite review at RRG, a precautionary stop ship was implemented pending a Lippert product evaluation. 10/3– Inspection of units/latches online and field data reviewed. 10/6 – Lippert’s data identified 815 latches sold to RRG. RRG had returned 344 latches to Lippert due to overstock errors through the production years identified (Note: The returns were not accounted for in the Lippert sales data. RRG also has 233 latches quarantined. 10/8 - RRG concluded the data investigation which included bill of material usage, motor home products and model years the recalled latch was used on. 10/9 - Developed summary of findings and forwarded to internal safety team. 10/13 – RRG internal safety team met and reviewed results and sent recommendation to corporate safety team. 10/17 - Corporate Safety Team met, reviewed and gave approval to declare a voluntary safety recall.
