Water Tank Heating Pad May Fail

Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2024-2026 Spirit, Minnie Winnie, Travato, View, Navion, and 2026-2027 Sunflyer, 2021-2026 Commercial vehicle, and 2023-2026 425 Commercial shell motorhomes equipped with a ThermaHeat Tank Pad. The water tank heating pad may experience high resistance and fail.

Risk / consequence

A heating pad failure can increase the risk of a fire.

Remedy

Dealers will install a new water tank heating pad, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 16, 2026. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is 201.

   December 18, 2025, Winnebago notified NHTSA ODI investigations team of the nature and findings of this matter.

2. Dec 11, 2026

   December 11, 2026, Alpha Systems, a Patrick Industries Brand, was contacted to support the investigation with subsequent meetings.
