Chronology of events
- Apr 15, 2026
During an internal inspection at GST’s vehicle processing center on April 15, 2026, it was discovered that the load carrying capacity modification label on a vehicle may have displayed an inaccurate weight value. GST initiated an investigation and discovered an inaccurate weight value in the system for an All Terrain Tire Upgrade accessory part which caused inaccurately calculated weight values to be used for the load carrying capacity modification label for some vehicles. As part of the investigation, GST identified specific accessory parts with incorrect weight values, corrected errors and performed a review of vehicles, additional accessory part weight values and installed labels to determine if any errors may have resulted in a noncompliance.
